What is the Purpose of Northern Virginia Rotary Clubs?

Rotaract of Northern Virginia Rotaract is a group of young professionals (ages 18 to 30) who are committed to addressing the physical and social needs of the community while also promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. Our members are passionate individuals who share a common goal of giving back to their community. Joining Rotary connects you to a diverse group of professionals who share your desire to make a difference. The primary purpose of Rotary is to serve the community and the world.

Rotarians strive to promote goodwill and peace, provide humanitarian service, and uphold high ethical standards in all vocations. The motto of Rotary is “Give before you think about yourself”, which encapsulates the spirit of service that drives the organization.
