Getting Involved with a Northern Virginia Rotary Club

Are you a young professional between the ages of 18 and 30 looking to make a difference in the Fairfax County community? Joining a Rotary Club is an excellent way to develop leadership skills, network with like-minded individuals, and give back to your community. Rotary Clubs are made up of dedicated individuals who share a passion for service and companionship. By becoming a Rotarian, you will be connected to a diverse group of professionals who share your desire to make a difference. The club offers programs and activities that involve young people up to 30 years old in their community and in service projects that encourage their interest in Rotary.

Each spring, Club members provide staff to organize the shooting event at two field competitions sponsored by the Special Olympics in the Potomac Region of Virginia. Additionally, the Rotary Club invites and encourages grant recipients to actively participate in advertising and participation in its annual “Taste for Giving” event, which is the main source of funding for Rotary's grant program.
